バイデン米大統領の就任演説　「Unity.Unity.」

１月２０日、バイデン米大統領が就任演説を行いました。

朝日新聞に英語と和訳が掲載されたので読んでみました。

「結束」が強調されましたのその部分を取り上げます。

　To overcome these challenges--to restore the soul and to secure the future of America--requires more than words.

It requires that most elusive of things in a democracy:Unity.Unity.

＜和訳＞

　これらの課題を克服し、米国の魂を回復させ、未来を取り戻すには、言葉以上のものが必要です。民主主義の中で最も定義が難しいものが必要とされています。結束。結束なのです。
